Recipe:
Ingredients-
- 4 Large Onions
- 1 Cup of Gram Flour
- 1 teaspoon of Turmeric powder
- 2 teaspoon red chilli powder
- 2 teaspoon coriander seed- cumin seed powder (Dhania- Jeera powder)
- Salt as per taste
- Handful of coriander leaves
- Green chillies
- Julienne cut the onions as shown in the video.
- Add 1 cup of gram flour to the onions and mix it well.
- Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander seed- cumin seed powder (Dhania- Jeera Powder) to the mixture.
- Add salt as per taste and a handful of fresh coriander leaves to the mixture.
- Mix the ingredients well and add 1- 1.5 cups of water for a thick batter consistency.
- Take oil in a shallow bottomed utensil for frying the Kanda Bhajis (Onion Fritters).
- Drop a handful of batter in the oil and fry it from all the sides till they turn Golden Brown in colour.
- Once the Kanda Bhaji (Onion Fritters) are fried well, serve them hot with tomato sauce and fried green chillies.
