Magas is a popular Gujarati Sweet recipe which is prepared using besan and ghee and is topped with some pistachios. This is a very simple Gujarati sweet recipe and is often prepared for various traditional festivities and ceremonies.

Ingredients:
- ½ Cup of Ghee
- 1 Cup Coarse Gram Flour (Besan)
- ½ Cup of Powdered Sugar
- 1 Teaspoon Cardamom Powder (Elaichi Powder)
- Pistachios
- Heat ghee and then add coarse gram flour (besan) and stir continuously.
- Stir on a slow to medium gas.
- Fry the flour till it becomes golden brown.
- Now take it off the gas and let it cool little bit.
- After it is cooled little bit, add powdered sugar and cardamom powder. Mix well.
- Now pour this mixture in a greased plate.
- Spread it evenly and sprinkle some pistachios.
- Let the mixture set.
- After it becomes firm, cut into equal pieces.
- Magas is ready to eat.
