Dudhi Na Muthia | Gujarati Muthia Recipe | Gujarati Rasoi

Muthia is a traditional Gujarati Snacks Recipe that is enjoyed a lot for dinner or on a bright Sunday morning. Muthias are prepared with gehun aata and vegetables with traditional Indian spices. This mixture is then steamed and then cut into small pieces. For crispiness and spiciness these muthias are stir fried in a tampering consisting of kadi patta, red chilies and more. Muthias are very easy to prepare and there are various types of muthias like Dudhi Na Muthiya, Methi Na Muthiya, Palak Muthia, etc. In this recipe we are presenting Dudhi Muthia.   • 1 Cup Wheat Flour
  • 1 Cup Semolina
  • 1 Cup Grated Dudhi
  • 1 Cup Chopped Coriander
  • ½ Cup Curd
  • 8-10 Crushed Green Chilies
  • 1 Teaspoon Ginger-Garlic Paste
  • ½ Teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 2 Teaspoon Dhana Jeera Powder
  • 1 ½ Teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Garam Masala
  • 7-8 Curry Leaves (Kaddi Patta)
  • 2-3 Split Green Chilies
  • 1 Teaspoon Mustard Seeds
  • Oil
  • Salt
Method –
  1. Make a mixture of wheat flour, rava (semolina), dudhi, green chilies, ginger garlic paste, dahi, coriander leaves, turmeric powder, dhana jeera powder, red chili powder, garam masala, salt, 3-4 teaspoons of oil and mix them well.
  2. Now make muthias out of the dough and place them on a sieve to steam.
  3. Once steamed , let them cool and then cut them into equal pieces.
  4. Now in a pan add some oil and prepare a tampering of curry leaves, mustard seeds and green chilies.
  5. Stir fry the muthias in the tampering and your favorite Gujarati dish Muthias are ready.
