Bharela Marcha Na Bhajiya | Rainy Season Special | Gujarati Rasoi

Recipe:
Ingredients:
  • Mirchi
  • Oil
For Stuffing:
  • 3-4 Boiled & Mashed Potatoes
  • ½ Teaspoon Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
  • 1 Teaspoon Dhana Jeera Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Red Chilli Powder (Lal Mirch)
  • ½ Teaspoon Chaat Masala
  • 1 Teaspoon Crushed Ginger (Adrak)
  • Salt
  • Coriander Leaves (Dhania)
For Batter:
  • 1.5 Cup of Gram Flour (Besan)
  • ½ Teaspoon Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
  • ¾ Teaspoon Red Chilli Powder (Lal Mirch)
  • ½ Teaspoon Soda
  • Salt
  • Water
Method:
  1. For the stuffing in boiled and mashed potatoes add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, chaat masala, dhana jeera powder, salt crushed ginger and coriander leaves. Mix all the ingredients well.
  2. Now take some less spicy & fat mirchis and make a slit and remove the seeds.
  3. Put the stuffing inside the mirchi.
  4. For the batter mix gram flour, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt and soda. Add water to make the batter for frying the marchis.
  5. Dip the stuffed mirchis in the batter and deep fry them in oil.
  6. Fry till they turn golden brown. Bharela Marcha Na Bhajiya are ready.
