Besan Na Ladoo | Diwali Sweets Recipe | Gujarati Rasoi

Besan Ladoo is must on occasion of Diwali. Among the ladoos like motichoor ladoo, coconut ladoo, aata ladoo, etc Besan ladoo is the most popular and quick ladoo dish to enjoy on a joyful occasion. With rich dry fruits like pistachios (pista), cashew nuts (kaju) and almonds (badam) and the royal saffron (kesar) these Besan Ladoos by Recipes Only is just irresistible. Recipe: Ingredients-
  • 2.5 Cups of Clarified Butter (Ghee)
  • 3 Cups of Coarsely Grinded Gram Flour (Besan)
  • 2.5 Cups of Powdered Sugar
  • Saffron (Kesar)
  • Grated Pistachios (Pista)
  • Grated Cashew Nuts (Kaju)
  • Grated Almonds (Badam)
  1. In a flat bottomed pan take 2.5 cups of ghee and let it melt and become very hot.
  2. Once it is very hot add 3 cups of coarsely grounded gram flour and stir it on a low flame.
  3. Keep on stirring till the clarified butter (ghee) is absorbed by the flour and a smell of cooked besan (gram flour) comes.
  4. Now add the saffron and the dry fruits.
  5. Stir all the ingredients well and take out the mixture in a flat dish.
  6. Let the mixture cool a little bit but not too much or else Ladoos won’t bind. Now, add 2.5 cups of sugar and mix it well.
  7. At a warm temperature start making the ladoos.
  8. Besan ladoos are now ready to enjoy.
