Palak is a nutritious ingredient which is rich in minerals and vitamins. Palak Soup or Spinach Soup is a easy to make healthy recipe. This soup recipe is prepared in butter to give a creamy taste and consist of cloves, bay leaves and garlic for a nice spicy taste.
Recipe:
Ingredients –
- 250 Grams Finely Chopped Spinach (Palak)
- ½ Chopped Onion
- 2 Teaspoons Butter
- 4-5 Cloves (Laung)
- 2-3 Bay Leaves (Tej Patta)
- 5-7 Chopped Garlic
- ½ Teaspoon Black Pepper Powder
- Salt
- Melt butter in utensil and add cloves, bay leaves and chopped garlic. Stir fry the ingredients.
- Now add finely chopped onion and stir till turns slightly golden brown.
- Add chopped spinach and add salt as per taste.
- Cook till spinach settles down.
- Remove the bay leaves and grind the remaining ingredients to make a puree.
- Now add this puree to a vessel and let it boil.
- Add water as per requirement and add black pepper powder and salt.
- Let the mixture boil. Palak soup is ready.
