Methi Na Dhebra | Gujarati Dhebra Recipe | Gujarati Rasoi

Dhebra is a popular Gujarati recipe often enjoyed during morning breakfast or with a hot cup of tea. This dhebra recipe consists of healthy pearl millet ( Bajri ) flour and fenugreek ( methi ). This methi bajri dhebra recipe is not only healthy but also tasty due to spiciness of green chilli and the crispy texture of the dhebra. Bajri Dhebras are enjoyed with curd or with pickle. Recipe: Ingredients –
  • 4 Cups of Bajri ( Pearl Millet Flour)
  • 1.5 Cup Chopped Fenugreek (Methi)
  • ¾ Cup Curd
  • 1 Cup Chopped Coriander Leaves
  • Paste of 10-12 Green Chillies
  • 2 Teaspoon Ginger Garlic Paste
  • ½ Teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Red Chilli Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Dhana Jeera Powder
  • Salt
  • Oil
Method –
  1. In bajri flour add the chopped methi leaves.
  2. Add coriander leaves, green chilli paste, ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, dhana jeera powder, red chilli powder, salt and curd.
  3. Add some water and mix the ingredients well to make dough.
  4. Now take a wet cotton cloth and spread the mixture on it. Flatten it and make it little bit thick.
  5. Make three holes in the flattened mixture.
  6. Roast the flattened mixture on a pan with some oil.
  7. While roasting, pour some oil in the holes and cook it on a medium flame.
  8. Methi Dhebra is ready to enjoy.
