Enjoy the recipe on religious days like Sankasti Chaturthi, Shravani Somvar, Navaratri Vrat or as Ekadashi Recipe (Agiyaras Food) Recipe: Ingredients-
  • 1 Cup of Rajgira (Amaranth Grain) Flour
  • ½ Cup of Roasted and Grinded Peanuts (Singdana)
  • 2 Boiled and Grated Potatoes
  • 7-8 Grinded Green Chillies (Hari Mirch)
  • 3 Teaspoons of Yogurt
  • 1/2 Cup of Chopped Coriander Leaves (Dhania)
  • 1 Teaspoon Cumin Seed Powder ( Jeera Powder)
  • 1.5 Teaspoon of Ghee
  • Salt
Method-
  1. In a mixing bowl, take 1 cup of Rajgira flour.
  2. Add jeera powder (cumin seed powder), grinded green chillies (hari mirch), roasted and grinded peanuts (singdana), yougurt (dahi), grated boiled potatoes and coriander leaves.
  3. Add 1.5 teaspoon of clarified butter (ghee) to make the parathas moist and fluffy.
  4. Add salt as per taste and mix the ingredients well.
  5. Make a dough and start rolling parathas out of it as shown in the video.
  6. Now in a flat bottomed utensil, roast the paratha well and apply ghee on both sides.
  7. Cook the paratha well and Rajgira paratha is ready to relish.
