Bajra Na Vada is a famous Gujarati delicacy to enjoy with a hot cup of tea. This Gujarati Snack is enjoyed in the morning for breakfast or in the evening at high tea. This snack recipe is prepared with nutritious bajra, methi and with some traditional Gujarati ingredients. Recipe: Ingredients:
  • 1 Cup Bajra Atta
  • ¼ Cup Wheat Flour
  • 3-4 Teaspoons Dahi
  • 1 Cup Chopped Methi (Fenugreek)
  • 2 Teaspoon Sesame Seeds
  • 3-4 Teaspoons Garlic – Green Chili Paste
  • ½ Teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 2 Teaspoon Dhana Jeera Powder
  • ½ Teaspoon Carom seeds
  • ½ Teaspoon Asafoetida
  • Salt
  • Oil
Method:
  1. Mix bajra atta, dahi, methi, gehun ka atta, til, garlic-green chili paste, turmeric powder, dhana jeera powder, carom seeds, asafetida, salt and 2-3 teaspoons of oil.
  2. Knead tight dough from the above prepared mixture.
  3. Make vadas out of the dough and deep fry it in oil.
  4. Bajra Na Vada are ready to enjoy with a hot cup of tea.
